Early Learning Center
Our Philosophy & Curriculum
Our philosophy at Hickory Grove Early Learning Center, is to allow each child to develop independently as they discover individual interest, abilities and limitations. Each month several units of study will be introduced at each age level. The basic curriculum used is the Wee Learn published by LifeWay, for Faith-based Weekday Programs. We also use Links to Literacy, published by Episcopal Children's Services, in our VPK class.
The daily schedule will include dynamic and quiet activities. Each activity will be planned to foster your child's growth in the areas of language skills, motor development, spiritual values, social interaction and creativity.

PURPOSE STATEMENT
The purpose of Hickory Grove Early Learning Center is to extend the ministry of, and help accomplish the purpose of Hickory Grove Baptist Church By providing the best care, age-appropriate education and development for each child enrolled to his/her greatest potential; spitirually, mentally, physically, emotionally and socially.
