Worship Ministries

Musical Worship is one of the most vital, if not the most vital functions of the church. You are welcome to join us each Sunday at 10:45 as we sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs which enable us to move toward a closer relationship with God and each other. You’re also invited to open your Bible as we worship God through the preaching of His Word.

Adult Ministries

Young At Heart/
Senior Adults

Meets on the third Thursday of the month at 6:30pm for supper, fellowship, and a devotional. Young at Heart is also involved in a variety of ministry and mission projects throughout the year.

Wednesday Night
Bible Study

Join us each Wednesday at 6:30
as we study God’s Word together.

Bible Study Fellowship
Womens Class

Bible Study Fellowship gives women of all ages have the opportunity to study the Bible together, exploring the meaningful questions of life, going deeper in their relationship with Jesus Christ and connecting with other women in conversations about things that matter. We meet Thursday mornings at 9:30

Fusion Youth

Students in grades 7-12 comprise this growing ministry that includes Wednesday Night Bible Studies, Youth Quake Live, Missions and Ministry opportunities throughout the year, Summer Camp, and other faith building activities.

Childrens Ministry

Team Kid

A wonderful time of high impact Bible study, Scripture memorization, high energy games, and yummy snacks for kids, pre-k thru 6th grade, on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:45.

Children's Church

An exciting time of worship and fun Bible learning activities for K-3rd graders.

Hickory Grove Early Learning Center

The ELC ministers to area families by offering quality faith-based child care and VPK programing.

Local Missions

School Partnerships

Hickory Grove actively partners with Charles E. Bennett Elementary School and Clay High School by collecting and distributing school supplies, classroom volunteering, preparing meals for faculty throughout the year, purchasing several Clay County Fair tickets for families, and preparing teacher and student goodie bags.

The Food Pantry Of
Green Cove Springs

We contribute financial gifts during the year, participate in food drives,provide food vouchers and several of our youth and adults serve as volunteers.

North American
Mission Board

NAMB exists to work with churches, associations and state conventions in mobilizing Southern Baptists as a missional force to impact North America with the gospel of Jesus Christ through evangelism and church planting.

International Missions

The Apparent Project

AP is a powerful orphan prevention ministry that provides hundreds of jobs in and around Port Au Prince, Haiti. The ApParent Project artisans use discarded materials such as cereal and cracker boxes to create beautiful “upcycled” pieces of jewelry. We regularly collect and ship boxes to Haiti and host AP jewelry open houses.

Operation
Christmas Child

A ministry of Samaritan’s Purse, OCC ministers to children worldwide through shoeboxes filled with fun and practical items.

International Mission
Board

IMB’s (International Mission Board’s) mission is to make disciples of all peoples in fulfillment of the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:18-20. Over 6,000 people groups – 1.7 billion people – still live with little or no access to the Gospel. IMB is an entity of the Southern Baptist Convention.
