Children's Ministry
Promiseland Kids
Promiseland Kids is what we call our Children's Ministry at Hickory Grove. In Promiseland, we model Jesus' love. That means we embrace families and nurture children so that, in God's timing, each child will be in a relationship with God through Jesus Christ, our Savior.
We offer many exciting opportunities for our children to learn about Jesus in fun ways. We minister through our Sunday School, which meets every Sunday morning beginning at 9:45 a.m. We learn about Jesus by playing games, singing about Jesus, and learning about the Bible.
Sundays are a time for worship and our Children are encouraged to gather for Children's Church during the Sunday Morning Worship Service. We also have a Children's Choir that meets for practice every Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
On Wednesdays, we meet at 6:30 p.m. for Team Kids and Mission Friends. Team Kids is an exciting program for children ages K thru 6th grade. There is an age-graded recreation time, Bible study, and snack time for all children. Mission Friends is a Bible study that is geared for the younger child from ages 3 to 5. Our Mission Friends meet at 6:30 p.m. and is packed with fun, love, and enjoyment.
