Tim McDaniel – Associate Pastor of Worship
Having served churches since 1974, Tim was ordained to the Gospel Ministry in 1980. He has been on staff at HGBC since 2002, where he served as Associate Pastor of Worship Ministries while his wife, Nikki, coordinates the Pure Joy Women’s Ministry.
Tim received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of North Florida, Jacksonville, FL; performed Masters of Church Music Degree work at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, New Orleans, LA; and earned a Masters of Ministry Degree and Doctor of Ministry Degree from Jacksonville Baptist Theological Seminary, Jacksonville, FL.
Tim believes church music aids the growth of spiritual understanding and expression. When one is redeemed, music becomes an expression of thanksgiving and praise rather than an experience of religious obligation or duty. Worship shouldn’t just be a ritualistic practice rather an obvious demonstration of us becoming like Christ – the one we are worshipping.Email Tim McDaniel
